OUR DRINKS
ALE
Our beer doesn’t have to travel far, Teme Valley cask ales are brewed on site at the Talbot. We are very proud of our on-site brewery, keeping our bar topped up with the finest ales and the finest regular drinkers and visitors. Chris our head brewer experiments to create new seasonal and guest beers.
This (3.7%) has all the easy drinking virtues of a light ale, with a vivid hop aroma. Challenger and Goldings hops, with a hint of chocolate malt, make a memorable session beer.
That (4.1%) is a chestnut coloured best bitter, with a robust malt flavour, balanced by powerful hops. We use crystal malt, chocolate malt, and Challenger and Sovereign hops. One for real ale connoisseurs.
T’other (3.5%) is a pale beer, brewed using Challenger and Goldings hops, to give a delicate aroma and a gentle bitterness. Amber malt contributes a light biscuit flavour. The low ABV makes it perfect for lazy lunches, or if you are the designated driver.
Wotever Next (5.0%) is a strong, dark, and bitter beer. The distinctive dry finish derives from chocolate malt, Pilgrim and Cascade hops. A long fermentation leaves little sweetness behind.
The Talbot Blonde (4.4%) is a smooth, rich golden beer, well hopped with Worcestershire Pilgrim and Minstrel. First introduced as a seasonal beer, but now available all year round.
HOP NOUVELLE (4.1%) Brewed using green un-kilned hops from local farms. Green hops are harvested and then pitched to the beer within an hour of picking to give more aroma and flavour.
HEARTHWARMER (6.0%) A rich winter beer fermented over 7 days to give a pleasantly dry finish.Flavours of crystal and chocolate malts, Not your run of the mill sweet sticky winter warmer.

WINES
Fine food deserves fine wine, so we’ve made sure that we have a varied selection that appeals to a spectrum of palettes and budgets.
We believe that great wine doesn’t need to cost the earth, therefore we work closely with our suppliers to ensure our wine range is of premium quality but has an accessible price for our guests.
From small producers to renowned vineyards, by the glass or by the bottle we’ve carefully selected our wines to compliment our food menu but also to enjoy on their own.
COCKTAILS
Using the finest spirits and freshest fruit we have devised a list of cocktails containing all your favourites as well as seasonal specials.
Speak to our bar staff and they will be willing to mix and muddle something bespoke for you.

EASING HILL VINEYARD
We embrace our local community here at The Talbot and support local independant businesses in any way we can. We have teamed up with local Vineyard Easing Hill in Broadwas, who supply us with a selection of wine for our guests to enjoy.
You can also often find Easing Hill making an appearance at our Teme Valley market, every second Sunday of the month to try their wine at home.
